Red Cloud offers glimpse into Cather childhood

Nebraskans with an interest in the life and times of Willa Cather can get a tour of the famous author's childhood home.
Willa Cather is Nebraska's Pulitzer Prize-winning author. She lived in her childhood home in Red Cloud from 1884 to 1890 when she left to go to college. "This is a registered national historic landmark," National Willa Cather Foundation representative Tracy Tucker said. "This house has been preserved and open to the public since the late 1960's for tours."
