Come explore the western edge of Webster County along the scenic Republican River during the 9th Annual Cowles American Legion Post 116 Republican River Stock Tank Float!
**NOTE: There's a big change for this year's event: The tanks will now start at the Old Riverton Bridge along 43 RD just east of Riverton in Franklin County and end at the Inavale Bridge***
Cost: $10 per person. Each team must have 2 oars or poles, a bucket, and life vests for each person on board. To qualify for the race, an 8ft or 10ft tank will be needed with 4 to 6 people.
Registration begins at 10am and the race will start at noon.
Lunch will be served.
Cash prizes will be awarded: $100 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, and $50 for 3rd. There will also be a $50 prize for the best decorated tank.
