Indian Creek Pond Wildlife Management Area
Indian Creek Pond Wildlife Management Area
Open to the public and administered by the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission
Indian Creek WMA contains riparian woods along the Republican River. Wood ducks, ospreys and eagles might be seen, plus woodland woodpeckers and passerines.
A great fishing and hunting spot, easily accessible from Hwy 281 just outside of Red Cloud. The Republican River is accessible in multiple areas along State owned land as well. Google maps representation of the WMA is incorrect. Please stay within posted boundaries. The Pond is known for channel catfish, blue gill, and largemouth bass.
