Built in 1878, the Harling/Miner house is one of the finest historic homes in Red Cloud. Although a more simplified, vernacular interpretation of the Italianate style, the house is the best example of the style in Red Cloud. Willa Cather's first playmate in Red Cloud was Mary Miner. Cather became friends with all of the Miner children, but especially Carrie. She wrote to Carrie regularly throughout her life, and her book My Ántonia is dedicated "To Carrie and Irene Miner, In memory of affections old and true."

Owners Matt and Casey met while in college at UNK and were married in 2009. They have three children, Camden, Karlie and Kyler. They both worked for Family Physical Therapy in Kearney for 11 years where Matt was a physical therapist and director of one the rehab clinics and Casey worked as a speech-language pathologist seeing out-patient pediatrics. Matt and Casey relocated to Superior in 2020 where Matt worked at Superior Physical Therapy and Casey worked for Superior Public Schools. In 2021, Matt and Casey moved their family to Red Cloud to take over Kenny's Lumber, their family's business. Matt and Casey have put their mark on the location, renovating the space and rebranding as Kenny's Hardware & Home Center. 

Integrity Rehab is located next door to Kenny's Hardware & Home Center and specializes in Physical Therapy and Speech-Language Therapy. They are open on a limited basis--please call for an appointment--but hope to add additional hours in the near future. 

At Kenny's Hardware and Home Center we are a fully stocked lumber and hardware store. We provide excellent, one of kind small town customer service. We have all the supplies you need for every project since 1989.
